■ Admission Policy

We are looking for students who can contribute to education and research in the field of global health, who understand global health issues at the field level, and who can build technologies and theories to solve them.
Below is a message from a WISE student about the programme.

■ WISE Programme Year 1: WISE Candidates

Eligibility: Applicants to or students already accepted on the Master’s degree course of the following graduate schools of Nagasaki University for 2024 admissions;

• Graduate Schools of Global Humanities and Social Sciences
• Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (except doctoral course)
• Graduate School of Integrated Science and Technology
• Graduate School of Economics

■ WISE Programme Year 2: WISE Candidates

Eligibility: Applicants to or students already accepted on the Doctoral Degree Course at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences for 2024 admissions

■ WISE Programme Year 3: WISE Students

Eligibility: 2nd year student of 4 year Doctoral Degree Course, 3rd year student of 5 year Doctoral Degree Course,
and applicants or students accepted on the Doctoral Degree Course at one of the following Graduate
Schools for 2024 admissions;

• Graduate School of Global Humanities and Social Sciences
• Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences
• Graduate School of Engineering (5-year Doctoral Program)
• Graduate School of Integrated Science and Technology
• School of Tropical Medicine and Global Health
• Graduate School of Economics
• Interfaculty Initiative in Planetary Health

■ Kyoiku Kenkyu Shien Keihi (“Stipend”), of the WISE Programme

Eligibility: Applicants who applied for the Nagasaki University WISE Programme Year 3
